WHO ARE WEThe Tasmanian Microbrew Festival is annually run by Tas TAFE's (formally known as Drysdale House) Hospitality and Tourism Advanced Diploma Students, who are supported by a variety of professional and experienced teachers.
All money raised during our event, is used to support the next 'crop' of Advanced Diploma students. The Hospitality and Tourism Pathway Programs at Drysdale provide students with many learning opportunities commencing at a Certificate III level, through to the Advanced Diploma, then articulating through to University. Partnering with industry leaders, the students are provided with a variety of fundamental skills which are required in our ever-growing Tourism and Hospitality sectors. Each year, the festival is approached by different students, with Kaizen (Continuous improvement of working practices) and as our major focus. |
